Jersey voted sunniest British holiday destination
For the fourth time in a row, channel island Jersey has been voted sunniest destination in the British islands.
Boasting 2,073 hours of sunshine in 2004, the island runs rings around any other destination in Britain. The Netherlands, by comparison, recorded 1,734 hours of sunshine last year.
Jersey basks in the warm Caribbean Gulf stream, which accounts for its many sunny days and high average temperatures. The island is therefore the perfect destination for a relaxed golf holiday in the pre or after season.
