Fancourt is awarded South Africa 's Leading Golf Resort by The World Travel Awards. The Awards currently celebrating its 15th Anniversary, held the first Africa Awards Ceremony at the ICC in Durban on 12 May 2008. The event forms part of a World Travel Awards Grand Tour with regional awards staged throughout the world. The Grand Final takes place on 12 December 2008 at Caicos in the Caribbean.
