Golfing in Spain

Spain is a very popular holiday destination. For golfers as well. Over the last couple of years, the number of golf tourists has increased. Surely, the building of many new courses, most of them surrounded by condominiums and bungalows, contributed largely to this. Most golf courses are located in the south of Spain on the Costa del Sol, nicknamed Costa del Golf. Anyone who visited Marbella will agree. The number of golf courses to choose from is enormous. Of course, the climate helps a lot as well. Spain is ideal for golf. Nowadays there is also a fair amount of golf on the Canary Islands. Tenerife boasts several golf courses and even the small island Gomera has its own golf course.
Of course, everybody prefers a different golf course, when asked for Spain's most beautiful one. El Saler near Valencia could be someone's ultimate choice; another might say golf course Sotogrande is the cream of the crop. Trying out these golf courses is the best way to find out the truth.
