Golfing in Poland

It is hard to imagine, but Poland has a long history of golf. The first 9 hole golf course was built in 1923; nowadays there are about 18 golf courses. Most of them were built after the revolution during the eighties. It does not sound like much, 18 golf courses, but it is a considerable amount for a country like Poland. The Polish plan to build a lot more golf courses because of the increasing popularity of golf among tourists.
