This is my home course and people work hard to maintain it. I believe it is in the best 50 in the Country and the destination is second to none.

It's always fun to play a new course. St. Endoc is stunning and well worth the long drive down. A good deal is possible in the winter which makes this great value too. This has to be one of the most dramatic and challenging links in England - even on a good weather day. With 40mph gusts this was more than a test for us! The holes are very varied and all memorable with the 6th and 10th really standing out. Our 2 course meal in the conservatory was excellent and the service exemplary. We received a warm welcome and very nice to chat to members in the bar area afterwards. You are indeed blessed if you are a member here!

I played St Enodoc 5 years ago. At that time I was impressed with the course so it was good to be back at the course that is highly rated not only in the U.K. but in the world. St Enodoc is simply a great links course set in the beautiful town of Rock, overlooking the Camel Estuary and the famous fishing town of Padstow.
One of the features of this course is the famous Himalaya bunker on the 6th hole. Although it’s impressive you can easily get around it. Play a 200 meter shot and that will give you an easy 145 in to the green.
The 3rd,4th,5th, and I believe the 12th don’t come over toe me as real ‘links’ holes. They are nice but not ‘linksy’ to me.
The James Braid designed links winds its way around, through and over the dunes. Wispy links rough stands ideally placed ready to gobble up any errant shot and fast running fairways make sure any shot on a bad line is directed towards the troublesome bunkers. The greens are undulating and nothing shy of prestine. You will not find a bobble on this course and a well struck, on line putt will find its way to the bottom of the cup.
The club house and practice facilities are just what you expect at such a club. Real good and a nice atmosphere. To be honest this time after playing Perranporth I was a bit disappointed or better not so impressed as the 1st time. If you’re around go and play it as it worth the trip. But also play his neighbour and decide your self.
