An unexpected gem. The greens were almost perfect a few days before Christmas- amazing.
It was like playing a typical English parkland course but a higher class one. No Bermuda to be found thank goodness and proper divots and lots of spin in the greens.
Not a weak hole to be found and the signature par 5 13th is a quality hole as you can see on the photos I’ve attached.
Great setting, very few houses and traffic noise. The 19th hole in the Fairplay Hotel is cheap, overlooks the course and has a great atmosphere.
The buggy paths are the best I’ve driven on so far. Perfectly smooth and great turning areas for the buggies. Attention to detail like toilets, drinking fountains and the tee markers/legend are a big asset.
When I’m in the area I will definitely be back.
PS. If you fade the ball you’ll certainly adore this course ?.

Nice course with a challenging 18 holes. Hospitality wasn’t that great, but he food and drinks are of good quality. 2nd 9 holes are more challenging then the first 9.

The course opened again about 3 months ago. This makes that the fairways are a bit long, but besides this, a great course to play. I can recommend this to everybody who is in the area. it is worth the drive.
