| The course has far too many blind tee shots in my opinion. Depending on how far you hit it, the 2nd, the 5th, the 8th, the 12th, and the 14th will all leave you having to hope your ball is ok instead of knowing. Having said that, there are some great holes out there, particularly the 3rd, the 6th and the 18th. The drainage is the best I've seen anywhere, the fairways are like links, and the greens are beautiful. Its still maturing, and has onvious potential as a golf course, but Dunmurry Springs remains very much a case of taking the good with the bad design. The course was reviewed in 2007 by Mick

| Beautifully maintained course, very friendly people running it, but some very poorly designed holes. The 6th stands out for me as possibly the biggest mickey mouse hole in the country. A reasonably short par 5, it has no fairway with OB all the way down the right and an almost obtuse dogleg. Bail out left and you're in fescue grass up to your neck. Hit it straight and you're left with a completely blind lay up, hitting across the fairway with no idea where to aim and more fescue encroaching onto the fairway. And thats assuming someone hasn't hit your ball first, as it runs opposite the severly difficult 8th. Three of my friends and I all lost at least one ball on this hole and none of us felt as if we'd missed a shot. The highest handicap amongst us was 6. The course was reviewed in 2007 by Mick

| This is a real hidden jem. My friends and i played it last weekend and we just did not want the round to end. Every hole offers you a different challenge and its a golf course where you have to think your way around the lay out. All in all a great test of golf. The course was reviewed in 2006 by Mark Byrne

| Dunmurry springs is just an awesome golfing experience. The attention-to-detail is a credit to the course designers and to it's club management. Right from the off you feel you just have to attack the course and play your very best golf. You'll be so engrossed in your game that you won't even realise you're walking up the side of a small mountain the views from which are stunning - from Wicklow in the East to the Midlands in the West. An absolute gem with something for every level of golfer. Superb. The course was reviewed in 2005 by Tom Griffith

| Beautiful Golf Course. Plenty of variety to test your game. The 90 degree Dogleg Par 5 being a particular gem. Clubhouse wasn't finished when I was there but the plans look promising. Couldn't fault the layout or design, the variety was a breath of fresh air. The course contians undulating fairways and split level greens. Many of the holes you could play different ways, defintiely a course for the strategy golfer. The views from the higher part of the course are fantastic. | Greens are fast & in fantastic condition especially for winter play & given that the course is so young. Has great potential. Views are spectacular - well worth the visit. The course was reviewed in 2006 by Ken Hogan
