The attitude of the staff was dreadful. The Asst Pro Mr Ayden Roberts-Jones was totally unwelcoming, officious and unhelpful. The starter was not there when we arrived and then when we returned to the ninth hole, greeted us not with a good morning or anything like that just a "what is your tee time!". He then served our first fourball and shut up the hut and went before the rest of the party arrived. I have organised trips to that region of Scotland for six years. In that time we have played and been welcomed at Muirfield, the Old Course, Kingsbarns, Downfield, Panmure, Monifeith, Ladybank and North Berwick to name but a few. We have, as a matter of course had a drink and food in all of those places afterwards. It is the first time in my memory that not one of the party has wanted to eat in the clubhouse because of the attitude and behaviour of the staff.
