Golfing Equipment
A golf set consists of one golf bag including clubs, golf balls, and one pair of golf shoes. Golf bags and collapsible buggies are carried as baggage and are exempt from normal linear dimension restrictions.
Australian Domestic
A golf set can be included in the baggage allowance. If the golf set and your checked baggage exceed the free baggage piece allowance, additional baggage rates will be charged.
New Zealand Domestic
A golf set can be included in the checked baggage allowance. If the golf set and your checked baggage exceed the free baggage piece allowance, additional baggage rates will be charged.
International Weight System
When the combined weight of one golf set and checked baggage exceeds the free baggage weight allowance, you will be charged the rate equal to 6 kg (14 lb) of additional baggage, or normal rates for additional baggage - whichever is less. Golfing equipment in excess of 15 kg (33 lb) will be charged at the normal additional baggage rates.
International Piece System
When the checked baggage piece allowance of one golf set and your checked baggage exceeds the free baggage piece allowance, you will be charged 50% of the applicable additional baggage charge for one such golf bag per passenger. Any additional golf equipment will be charged at the normal additional baggage rates.
Additional baggage rates varies from AU$ 12 to AU$ 48 one way.
